This is our family owned Christian restaurant which we purchased in 2001. Although it has been a restaurant for over 40 years, it started out as a regular home, but later was converted into Al's Pancake House, which some people still refer to it today, to service the Motel that used to be next door. The Motel burned down in 2001 (the year we bought the restaurant), although it was not owned by us.
We are known for our "Million Dollar View" of beautiful Northern Michigan, and our down home cooking. We overlook Lake Huron and can see historic Mackinac Island from the deck and porch of the restaurant. In the summer months the deck is usually full as people enjoy eating their meals outdoors enjoying the beautiful weather that St. Ignace exhibits during the summer months.
